got my buds drying in brown paper bags now...i've seen in past threads that some use jars to store their buds in...my wife found me a case of new mason canning jars at a yard sale...the question is...do i need to poke holes in the lid so the buds can breathe or do i seal the buds up airtight?

thx:joint:

The mason jars are for curing after they have dried out (so the stems snap). Air tight. open the jar and rotate buds a few times a day to let moisture out so they don't mold.

yes dry them till the little leaves left on them turn greyish and the stems snap when u bend them .. then take them and place them in plastic jars or plastic bags... and cure them by leaving them in a jar or bag and removing them once or twice a day to let them air out so they dont get moldy ... do this for a few weeks and your buds should be evenly dryed and ready to go.

Just make sure it's air tight, the less stagnant air the better. The mason jars work, so do those vacuum pack bags for food storage..
