haha my whole growing area and outside smells like bud like a lot easy to tell



my question is even though i have a marijuana license should i worry about the smell like can i get ino trouble other than being robbed haha???

From what I understand (could be wrong), while your STATE may have legalized medical marijuana, the federal gov has not... and if they catch you, you're in trouble. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The federal gov probably won't waste their time on small grows... so you should be fine... just watch out for thieves.

If you're worried, maybe burn incense to cut the aroma. Might help to run any exhaust fan, depending on the exit ducting?
Also depends on locale. I'm in a house, with CLOSE neighbors and windows that sorta line up. This place REEKED most of the summer, my neighbors by the grow side HATE us, yet no issues, for what that's worth. I could occasionally smell it while outside, but I also know what to smell for.

lol anyone try to rob me is gonna get beat down haha

if you have a license you don't have to worry about state or local cops, just the feds. like grow said for one plant it's hardly worth the time and effort for the dea to crack down on you. i'd be more worried about getting robbed so i would still be wary of the smell. get a carbon filter, incense, an aromatic candle or something to weaken the smell up a bit.

I believe this depends on the State you're in. In Montana, the cops aren't privvy to who has a license and who doesn't, so I'm pretty sure they'd at least stop by if neighbors reported it. (the smell)

I dunno about other States, but am sure the data's available to anyone seeking it.

lol i was working outside friday and left my garage door open for a min. while i grabed some tool from my truck and could smell mine as i turnd and headed back whew. for one plant you could try a diy carbon filter

lol tusseltussel hahah mine is one plant too and it smells so much im planing on growing 6 or 7 next but how much would that smell lol?????


or am i crazy? i got the lincense dont forget lol but more smelll = more people noticing and that == possible robbers.

get a bottle of activated carbon in the fish section of the pet store a nylon stocking a adjustable 90 degree duct to fit your exhaust fan and a pvc drain grate put a cloth filter in the botom of the drain put the drain piece on the end of the duct peice duct tape it if you have to put the carbon in the nylon put that in the duct assembly cut an old peice of screen to fit down in their and hold the carbon pouch and pu it on your exhaust smell should be greatly reduced if not gone all together, you doont want the wrong ppl to smell it and try to rob you trst me it really sucks to have to shoot someone especially after its done and theres sumone laying their with half ther face blown off it really sucks man

I would just be concerned about those punk thieves. The federal government will not mess with you if you are legitimate and not having a factory going on. The only 215 dummies in my area that get napped are like doing hundresds of plants with thousands of watts of juice and running traffic out their places with trick cars parked out front lol.

they wanna jack some weed to make a quick couple thousand.... like 3-6 not really that much thats if u got a pound in your grow room lol working on it
