stinging up branches

Quick noob question.
So my plants branches are getting pretty heavy from the buds. The branches are almost upside down at the tips.
Will it harm the plant to leave it? Or what is the benefit of supporting the branches with string?

Use sticks or whatever. The benefit? Tighter bud, bigger bud, better bud the closer to the light it can get.

yes it will harm the plant by breaking the branch. tie it up or use a stick for support.

i really didnt want to answer your noob question without seeing some pics. you really cant come in here asking for help with your heavy ass buds and not give us a look see.
