Sterilization

So...I'm about to make my cakes.

I am debating going to get a PC at the Flea Mrkt. But all the ones I located where smaller. Also, is ok to use a glass top electric stove to use PC?

Does anyone have any experience with just steaming in a large pot. Or any other sterilization methods?

I've used a pc with a glass top electric range many times.

You can get away with steaming in a crock pot if you are using the pf tek and making brf cakes, like in the "let's grow mushrooms" video on youtube.

Any other substrate or methods will need a pc, as long as it sits flat on the glass top it should be fine.

Get the PC, it opens so many doors to you in this hobby. Glass top will be fine, as you turn the plate down anyway once it hits full pressure. Alot of nasty critters can not be killed by the temp reached by boiling water at atmospheric presure, by increasing the pressure we increase the temperature to well above the boiling point of water. The more presure your pot can take the higher temp it runs inside, the higher temp it runs, the shorter it needs to go for, and the less you need to spend on electricity.
