Just to start off I am a first time grower. I am growing out of a homemade stealth box that i made from an old speaker tower. Demensions 17''L-11''W-35''H
About how many plants could i get to flower in one of these? I have 2 but thats only if needed.
Lighting- I have 1 55w LED grow thats in there now. Problem is that its 12'' square so its in there at an angle. The whole inside is covered in aluminum foil to reflect and keep light in. Is that enough?
Watering- From my past experience with hydroponics i was taught mostly how to install drip systems and not really on the dynamics so i thought id ask some pros. To keep things quiet, small, and cheap. I went with a homemade drip system. The resivior is the ceramic pot in a crock pot. It sits perfectly on the bottom of the speaker without taking away much space. I have 2 130gph fountain pumps(assuming theres 2 plants) that i have rigged so the water tube is plugged and theres an emitter plugged in the side. I have clocked it at 1/2 gallon every hour. What should i do for a feeding schedual? What kind of timer?
Potting-For a medium I used 1 inch rockwool squares. I have put them in 4 inch rockwool squares and if they get too large, I have perlite and pots. At the moment i have a board with holes on top of the resivior that the cubes sit on and leak excess fluid back into the resivior. Is this sufficient?
Ventillation- ...is a major downfall at the moment. Im ashamed to say Iv had to leave the 12 speaker hole empty in order to lean a window fan againt the mesh and keep it cool around 77*F. Not very stealthy but im hoping to get rid of it quick. I want to take the 3'' hole in the back of the tower as a hole for ventilation. I could rig a desk fan to that hole from the back and keep the speaker in a convienent place. Or place it on a side table with a hole in the bottom venting into the side table? Any ideas?
Due to mixing the seeds in with other products i hade to germinate the seeds before finishing the box. There are 4 sprouts and im in need of great help quick.
