Clean little setup you've got there.

Your house is too cold, turn the heat up! :P

I would probably get a little portable heat and aim it towards the intake fan. Put it on a timer, so its running when the lights are off. It will take a little tweaking to learn what setting to put the heater on and where to place it outside the case.

Another option could be to get one of those reptile heat mats and put it in the case. Turn it on opposite the light schedule. Couldn't tell you how much this would raise the temps though....

Never had experience with this, but those are what I might try.

so that takes care of the cold but are the mid 80s to high or can i live with that? anyone else got any idea and thanks for the clean setup comments guys i sort of aimed for less clutter more grow space.

you want the temps to be below 85*. What i did was mount a smaller PC fan up on the top corder and i aimed it at the lights. It was level with the CFLs and it would blow towards the exhaust, that kept my temps at a solid 76*.

so like this (exhaust-lights-fan) <--- []--<--OOOO-<--[]

aight thanks dude ill look into it. itd be better to gain a fan then lose a light right? or does one plant really need 4 lights?

nice little veg box...

as for the 80' problem, i would just hookup a computer fan with a small carbon tube on it (dont need a lot since they won't stink that bad)

so everyone is pretty much leaning to add another fan instead of remove a bulb? any other ideas for the cold? id stop asking but if im taking apart this case again i want it to be the last time.

turn your intake fan off during the night. If your exhaust fan is strong enough (it is) it will create suction by sucking in fresh air from any opening (where your current intake fan is) the intake fan is prob whats making it get cold. More lights the better!

what is your light schedual? Is there any off time? If so then you dont really need any fans running when the lights arent on. Mess around with the settings, im sure youll find it!

Word. Just turn you fans off when the lights go out and throw some shirts around the case. When the lights go on lower your intake setting but leave the exhaust as high as it can get. Dont forget to add another fan pointing at the lights!

What do you plan on growing? Autoflowers would work awesome in that case. I just veg in mine, its too small to flower. (even though i got an autoflower in it now lol)

ill look into another fan this weekend for sure, as for what to grow in there i want to find a strain that stays quite short and i may do auto but i would mind just doing lst or a scrog. passtime did i very nice scrog in a pc case.

hey you want a variation in night temperature and day temperature. Honestly a twenty degree variation isn't incredibly too much. Your plants will PROBABLY be fine with it. But no guarantees. If anything i agree that i would focus on dropping the day temp more so than keeping it warm at night.
