Stealth my window

Hello,

Sorry I dont have a pic :( basically what I have is a 2ft, by 2 1/2ft window that is covered on the inside by a board with 2 6in diameter holes in it for intakes. Between the board and the window there is a good 6in of window seal. I'm looking for some kind of material I can put in the window seal (between the window and the board) that is non-transparent but will allow air to pass through easily. Any suggestions? It doesn't have to look exactly like a normal cookie cutter window. the window is in a spot that noone will reallly access but just in case I need to hide the intake holes from being seen through the window.

Thank you

Hey mate!
Perhaps use some kind of card board or something loosly over it so no direct light will hit the holes... or even make a box with one edge open so air can still enter... then paint the outward facing side mat black. Hope this helps.

What I would do is put curtains in front, then put small segments of elbow ducting or a diy substitution that resists airflow less than it does reflective light penetration.. Ideally fans right there too..
By window 'seal' I assume you mean sill.. With 6" you can even put something inbetween that makes it look like the room is being lived in behind the curtain.. I used to have a similar situation, and I had a 5" b/w TV and a small lamp between the curtain and the light-proof backing that had a short duct to a 450cfm fan..
I made my own timers for the decoys that had a moderate random factor coupled with a realistic schedule of sorts.. From outside it looked like somebody in the room was watching tv, with or without lights, or absent..
