Stealth Grow - Subwoofer

Hey guys completely new here. First time ever growing. So far I've done the paper towl method and have gotten the seeds to start to root. Havn't gotten farther than that which is kinda making me sad but then again its day three so idk. Anyway I needed another stealth growing spot so I was searching around for awhile and I liked the idea of the computer but I didnt have a old computer on me and its thanksgiving (happy thanksgiving everyone) so I couldnt go get one. Looking around I used a subwoofer box as a table next to my bed. I thought hey why not give it a shot. So I put a 60 watt bulb at the top and put the plant inside. My sub box is ported so its getting air. Its prolly not enough though but this is just for shits n gigs. Luckly my hand fits through the port so I can water it too. Another factor I'm worried about is heat. I have no way of measuring how hot it is in there. At least right now. Hopefully not to hot to start a fire. I also have a fan on it for air and to cool it down. So what do you guys think? I know its got problems and its not the best but its a prototype and I havn't seen this idea used yet. sorry but your gonna probably need something bigger then that do you have a 60 watt cfl?If not incandecents wont work it might get you threw veg but you will get no bud.Go out to a flea market and look around for a small cabinet like 3 or 4 feet high then you can get something going.Remember you want 6500k cfls for veg the blue tint kind and for flower I used a mix of my 6500k's and 2700'ks the 2700k are the orange tint ones try and get about 9 or 12 of them.Remember you still want some nutes to so search around for that info on here to.

would be better to get a fan inside and get some air movement going in and out...good idea though use CFLS dont use incandescents.

It'll definitely work for growing an indica/indica-dominant strain. Just top the plant every now and then.
Look into LST also.

What would be great for your application would be a lowryder variety, especially Lowryder #2 x AK47(easyryder). They have short life spans, usually 60-70 days from seed. If you can hit up Home Depot you can have a pretty decent CFL light set-up that would yield you at least 1/4 ounce to an ounce of what would be some dank weed with the right care. Those plants can grow as short as 10" tall.

Just read up on here a little bit man, you'll pick up great tips. You could wrap the inside of that box with Mylar for 2$ by getting an "Emergency Blanket" from the camping section of your local sporting goods store/Wal-mart.

Nah emergency blankets are really really thing and infact have loads of tiny holes, let light waste... They would also insulate your box LIKE MAD. Paint it flat white thats the best!

i would line that puppy with hi output leds and that 60W cfl on the top.

edit: oh yea, i would figure out how to make it alittle more humid in there to since its gonna be dry. Line it with mylar if you can get a hold of some..make sure it is thick
