I'm starting my first closet grow of 2 short riders and wonder how stinky they're going to get. Will two smaller plants like the short riders are supposed to be get really stinky, or is it easy to cover with air fresheners, etc.? What about charcoal to absorb some odor - a tray or two right inside the closet with them? How much is a carbon filter going for in the Eastern US, and does it need to be vented outside? I could rig a hose and fan to blow exhaust out a window, but how much cold air is going to kick back thru the hose and mess with my closet temps? It can be anywhere from 30-50F here come Nov. or early Dec. when I should be getting close to harvest and putting off the most funk. How much cold can they take coming back thru that vent hose?
