What's good everyone? bongsmilie

Reposting here because it will get more appreciation than in the regular grow journal section. First timer here. I've been reading Rollitup and have gained a great deal of knowledge. Honestly, I don't see how so many people ask so many stupid questions that have been answered countless times, but that is neither here nor there.

I need this to be stealthy for obvious reasons, and I had a quality wooden dresser that I no longer used. After my bro harvested his plant I did some thinking. A lot of toking later, and my bro reminding me of the numerous high quality seeds he had been collecting, I decided I was going to give this a shot. I may or may not post pictures of the actual cabinet just because I'm paranoid.

I germinated all seeds using a paper towel and so far have had 100% success rate out of the 5 seeds. The supposed strains are 3x G13, 1x purp, 1x Strawberry Diesel. I can confirm the Strawberry Diesel since that was a seed I got out of the bag and immediately germinated, but the others are just based off what I've been told. I've also read that G13 is clone only, but since plants can be forced to
hermaphrodite I can see how seeds could be possible. UPDATE: I'm being told the seeds were made by a G13 grower and given to my bro.

The first 2 seeds started off in outdoor dirt just because I was a little overzealous about things, then were transplanted into Scotts potting soil. There was multiple seedlings in each pot at this point. Last night after a few more of the seedlngs were started to get a few inches on them I decided that simply wouldn't do. I went to Home De Pot and picked up a bag of manure/organic compost soil, perlite and peat moss. Mixed this stuff up and transplanted all the seedlings into their own cups. I also am experimenting with the 3 "G13" seedlings and FoxFarm GrowBig nutes. I have put one(youngest) on just water for now, one(middle) on 1/2 strength nutes, and one(oldest) on full strength nutes. A day has passed and the plants that were fed nutes are growing great, with no sign of any nute burns. I plan on either LSTing these to the max, or topping, or fimming them.

For lighting I'm currently using a combination of CFLs, a fluorotube and some MR16 LEDs. As the op moves further and the plants get taller I am going to be adding more CFLs and removing the MR16s because of heat issues. I have the CFLs mounted withing 2-3" of the plants, the MR16s mounted about 2 feet above, and the fluorotube is used for side lighting. The internal walls have mylar on them.

Out of the first two seeds I germinated, one was G13 and one purp. I don't remember which was which though and I didn't label them as they shared a pot at the beginning of their lives. Hopefully I'll be able to tell the difference later on in maturity.

Any comments are welcome, and stay high. bongsmilie
Sorry for shitty picture quality, webcam is all I have right now.

Plant Update:
Plant A: G13 or purp - 9 days (full nutes)
Plant B: G13 or purp - 9 days (full nutes)
Plant C: G13 - 5 days (full nutes)
Plant D: G13 - 4 days (full nutes)
Plant E: Strawberry Diesel - 1 day (no nutes)

I think B has developed slight nute deficiency, so I started her on full nutes. All of the girls that have been on full nutes are growing fast and showing no sign of burns, so I'm hoping she will be fine going from nothing to full strength. Also last night the Diesel has sprouted and is already 2 more than inches tall.

Morning update with pics.
Plant A: G13 or purp - 10 days (full nutes)
Plant B: G13 or purp - 10 days (full nutes)
Plant C: G13 - 6 days (full nutes)
Plant D: G13 - 5 days (full nutes)
Plant E: Strawberry Diesel - 2 day (no nutes)

I think plant D(green cup) is experiencing either overwatering or transplant shock because she is wilting down a little bit this morning and growth has slowed down slightly.

Hey, dude. Lookin' good! Keep growin'! What do you have for air flow going on, though? That's often a problem with stealth grows. That and temperature.

Stay high, bro!

I have a 6" fan(the kind that clamps on to desks) blowing directly on the MR16s to keep the temp low, and an 80mm PC case fan attached at the top of the cabinet with a 6x7 matrix of holes drilled for exhaust.

I hopefully am picking up a ph meter and thermometer from a friend tonight so I can figure out those numbers.

Thanks man. :bigjoint:

I have been germing 2 more random(but high quality) bag seeds and 1 more purp seed. One of the randoms and the purp seed cracked overnight.

I planted one into the rest of the soil mix I had left, and one into a 50% perlite 50% peat moss mix. I'm really trying to get as much experience and knowledge from this first grow as possible, so I'm getting my feet wet in as many ways possible.

I'm also hoping to get a purp male and a g13 female or vice versa so I can crossbreed them.

If anyone wants a pic of the box itself PM me and depending on how much I think you're a piggy, I'll decide to send it or not. :blsmoke:

I'm 99.99999999...% sure that those seeds are pure G13. They might be G13 x Haze or G13 x Kush or G13 x Skunk, but if you got those from a bagseed, I'm willing to bet that you're dealer is just exaggerating the quality by calling it G13.

No, the purp is bag seed.

The G13 seeds were from my brother who said he got it from a G13 grower.

I guess we'll see if they are at least G13 caliber later on, but either way I'm just hoping for good plants.

Little update...

Plant D was getting way worse, and since I got a little overzealous in germinating too many seeds, I gave him the big ugly axe this morning and he was replaced with a random bagseed.

A and B are looking great and the strawberry diesel is growing faster than the others did at that age.

Here's a pic of the inside of the new setup and a pic of the best growing little girl(B for those of you that actually read some of my slop at the beginning).
