Stealth Bubbleponics

I usually grow indoors in the dirt, but I figured I'd give this bubbleponics a try.

My system is put together, tub is full of 6 gallons of water. Just wait'n on the seeds to germinate.

Question: Once the seeds break and my white squigly thing starts creeping out, do I just lay them down on top of the cubes? Or push them down into the cubes?

I don't understand the problem with light seeping down past the Hydroton rocks? Any Answers?

Peace, and my your grow be HUMONGOUS!

if light shines on your water algea grows. Also, the technaflora nutrients I use say that bright lights will lower the iron in water. Should be a small hole in ur rockwool cube. If not big enough for your root just make a deeper hold with something small.
