static 2000w or moving 1200w ???

grow are will be 6' x 6' perpetual sog what would be more efficient 2 x 1000hps static or 2 x 600hps moving ????

any help ???, i'm new here trying to learn and smart my 1st grow

the 600's on tracks would definitely provide light to a broader area, but the 1000's will penetrate deeper. Obviously the 600's will be most efficient (1200w vs 2000w).

If it were me, I'd go with the 600's on a rail; it would provide the best light all the way to the edge plants; you'll get more even sized plants.

as my grow will be sog i will be trimming the lower 1/3 of the plant so i dont really need the light to go deeper or do i ???

that's true... I'd definitely get the 600's

should i go with cooled lights or simple ones???? i am tryng to keep the budget low, the room will have a nice ventilation setup itself with a closed area for mothers and flowering..

i think hoods are worth it for the extra little money
