startup cost?

So i want to start a small grow op (hydroponic) 4 plants tops just wondering how much it would cost and what what items i would need to startup with

Startup costs can vary from a couple of hundred dollars to several thousand, depending on what you buy, what you make, and what you have available. First is the grow space; if you don't have a closet or room, a small chamber can be built out of scrap lumber. Lights are important, but can be pricey. Spend money on a good bulb first (HID will give you best results compared to most, T-5 Flouros work well too), then you can look into a DIY lighting set or a cheaper light fixture to save money. Fans will be needed to cool, and you can build a tray for pretty cheap, if you don't want to bother with building it, you can buy them too. Mylar on the walls will help utilize all the light available, but is by no means required on your first grow. Soil will be cheaper than hydro initially, but the costs will run about the same for organic vs synthetic nutes. Best thing to do is do a little research; look up prices for stuff from atlantis hydroponics (I've had great service from them) or any other hydro shop, and whatever costs too much can usually be made for a lot cheaper.

depends on what kind of hydro you are growing. Id say regardless your gonna need at least 600 bucks or more. You need air stones and pumps and water pumps maybe. a resevoir and some hosing. Some exhaust fans and intake. A light, and some nutrients.

It all depends on how you want to grow your girls . You are about to recieve many different answers .
You should start reading the grow journals and stickys here and educate yourself . See what works for you .
If you ask people for a shopping list , you will end up buying stuff you don't really need to get started for YOUR grow .
I can't stress enough , start reading and then read some more . Things will start to fall into place .

Depends on a lot(lights you want,what nutes,I would go with baby bloomer for 4 small ones).

And the only thing I listed above that is very very top shit was the ph meter and nutes. The rest is knock off shit but it will get you by and it still added upto $1,238.00 Add another 600+(at least) to that of you want can fans/filters, DR tent or hydrohut tent,Lumatek lights, better bulbs ect.

Thanks for all the input my basement is average 20x16 all tho there are no windows so it's pretty dark and like I said I just want a simple grow op nothing to crazy and I have about $800 to start with. I know I'll need to alloy more about growing

I have been told its not cheap...........

A small cabinet,avg hight 4 ftx2or3 ft wide,A 2 way ballast,and a 250 watt mhl and a 250 watt hps,some white paint for the inside of the cabinet.2 fans,one input,one output.Input not really needed if you get a strong output fan.Containers&Seeds.Nutes.....Your Choice.You can pick up a cabinet at a yardsale for next to nothin.Good Luck on Your Grow.Stay Happy,Healthy,and High......Oh I forgot.You can pick up a carbon filter for 30 or 40 bucks.......P.S GOOD LUCK
