Starting seeds hydroponically

I've completed two successful hydro grows so far, but both were started from clones. I've got 30+ really good seeds that I want to start and keep 5 or so to grow as mothers and allow the rest to grow to finish. I want to do the 5 mothers in soil and the rest hydro. After sprouting the seeds, what would be the next step for the ones going into hydro? Could I just put the seedlings into a rockwool cube and let them go until they root, then put the entire cubes into my buckets with hydroton? Any tips for watering, and maintaining the cubes until they are ready for transplant? Thanks for any help!

you could germinate in the rockwool and then just place the cube into your bucket. i love germinating in rockwool!

Well the best thing to do is to already your hydro stuff running and after the seeds germinates just place the taproot into the rockwool and then place the rockwool into your hydroton or whatever ur using and then u should have a little seedling within a day or two. oh yea make sure the rockwool stays wet. But have you never grown hydro? What kind of hydro system are you gonna use?

there was some thread where a guy was putting his seeds in a aerocloner in the neoprene sleeves after tap root was visible, and was getting close to 100% success. was crazy!!!!
