There are various methods, the following have worked really, really well for me...
The paper towel method
Items Needed:
- Kitchen Roll
- Air Tight Container
- Luke Warm Water
Get 6 Pieces of kitchen towel, split in half so 3 rolls are joined together.
Boil Your Kettle, pour boiling water in a cup of some sort, leave on a window sill till luke warm (Just test with your finger)
Then once the cup of water is luke warm, dip in 1 of the 3 joined kitch roll sheets and then squeeze gently, so it's moist not soaken & then do the same with the other 3 kitchen roll sheets.
Place 1 of the kitchen sheets witch you pre-soaked previously into the bottom of an air tight container, place seeds into the towel & then put the other kitchen towel on top of seeds.
Then close container & place on a warm radiator..
I usually get the air tight container and wrap it in a tea towel, then place on a hot radiator.
Other method
Pre-Soak soil, get a pencil measure of 1/4 inch and mark with a knife.
Then put pencil in the pre-soaked soil, drop seed in, dust soil over top, give a final mist.. leave it somewhere warm or at least room temp.
I usually see the seeds up within 24-72 hours some times lil more but most of time within hours stated, as it's not uncommon for seeds to take a tad longer.
Best of luck..
