... and after topping it down and seriously defoliating, I decided to research autoflower strains.

I do things backwards sometimes.

Then I thought, "oh shit, maybe I shouldn't have done that".

Alas, it's too late now. Plus I didn't even plant the seed until 6/22, so... It's whatever. No big loss. But I'm still curious what you think.

Leave it alone now and let it grow? Any experiment ideas? I have other plants doing well, so I'm not too worried about this one, but I'm open to fun things to try.

Here's a picture from late July, right after I started messing with it... So it's growing fast, at least.

I would do some LST from this point, I topped my Tangimatic’s twice and did lst the whole way threw. I got 11oz indoors worked well on that strain, I’m smoking it right now lol. I only did one grow with autos though so I don’t have a wealth of knowledge, good luck :peace:

Im interested in trying the same thing on my next grow... Might try it out on an AVT... Im watching this.. Keep posting the progress please...

Defoliation = Not good...Basically a misunderstood term that is over practiced.

Leaves make the food for the plant (Plant food factories). Your in a sense, starving it...

You just doomed that plant to smaller nugs! They will be dense but, small..

It's going to put more energy into repair then into growth.

Like I said, i realized my error and now I'm just watching to see what happens.

You just couldnt sit back and watch it grow huh? All you had to do was water, feed when needed and she would do the rest. What did you think was going to happen when you topped and defoliated, it would grow like a tree!? Learn from this, I know I did.. Happy growing

Auto update pic.

The leaves are looking shitty... Looks like bug damage, but I see no bugs. I'm hesitant to spray anything on her at this point.
