Started Flowering! When to stretch?

They will naturally stretch 2X to 3X their starting size once they enter floral cycle, usually within first 2 week of cycle's start. I try to flower at 12'' to 18'' so plants only get 36'' to 42'' tall at max. height. It all depends on your grow area size and room height.

Yea, I've never heard of this as a way to increase yield. Stretching is generally considered a bad thing, and it occurs when your lights are too far from the plants. If you want to increase yield then look into some trimming method such as topping, LST, or whatever you want. Topping is the simplest and most common, but there are many others.
