We're growing Jack Herer in a 200cm high tent and the lighting system is a cheap 600w HPS setup. We've just started flowering and from what I've read they can grow 2-3x higher than what they are in a vegetative state. The problem is, we can only cater for a size increase of double of what it is at the moment. And that's pushing it as the light system isn't enclosed so they'll be burning for sure if they hit 40 inches.
I've read you can bend the stalks so they'll grow on a horizontal plane. I'm just interested to know if anyone has any examples of how far you can go with the bending route.
