someone should try it in the name of SCIENCE!!! Someone also should make an account with a name like that and become famous by trying worthy sounding experiments on plants :D

TOTAL MYTH...Resin production takes time, when flowering. A nail or screw in the stalk won't produce it.

i thought stress causes it to produce more resin though, so nail would = stress, ive also heard of people during the last couple days of flowering to have it completely dark

put your plant in complete darkness for a day. That would help with resin production. Just use this method like a week before harvest.

Your better off running around your house 3 times with a pineapple shoved up your ass chanting more resin, more resin, more resin.. It will work better than a nail in your stem.

That was way out there.
No it's true. I heard it from my buddy's pop's coworker's aura. The pineapple thing not the nail. As for the nail, well since resin is not really produced in significant amounts in the stem, there won't be much to "move up" in to the buds. Healthy plants live up to their gentic potential.

This technique originated centuries ago with the cannabis farmers of the Hindu Kush. They would split the stem (lengthwise) just above the soil and tap in a small piece of wood to keep the split open. It should be done at least a week before end of flowering and two is preferred. doing this will delay your harvest by 4-5 days.

However, what worked in the sunny high altitudes of the Hindu Kush in the 16th century might not necessarily work in your indoor closet at sea level using decent modern nutrients and a radically different strain of cannabis.
