Sprout has burnt (?) leaf tips

So this sprout is 5 days topside, in a micro grow setup with black gold/perlite and cfls. It is one of three and the only one with the problem.

Days 1-4 I had 1 27w daylight cfl and 1 23 w softlight cfl. 18/6 veg.

Today I added another daylight 23w.

Noticed the burnt tips day 3 or 4 don't remember. But I read that if I can hold my hand under the lights for a long time without being uncofortable then that would be a safe height for the sprout. So I don't think the browning is from the lights.

Have only been misting with an atomizer (bottled water) since planting of seeds in moist soil. Yesterday I gave them each about 25-30ml of water in their 14oz cups. No nutrients yet.

They have been consistently 2 inches frm the lights. The temp fluctuates between 77 and 84 F.

Doesn't seem to be spreading, any advice?

Little things like that can happen when you're dealing with soil grows. Wait and see if it affects bigger areas of the leaf or if growth vigor differs plat to plant.

Just watch and wait.Sometimes they can get a bit of a heat burn especially if you use the cheap cfl's.I always had heat issues with cfl's in my space, because it took so damn many to grow anything with. Just don't mist it unless you do it right before lights off, sometimes the water droplets magnify the light. You shouldn't really have to mist them anyway at their age,just begin normal watering and they should do fine.
