Spread of Seeds in Outdoor Growing Plot

Hi everyone - I've been doing hours worth of research over the last few weeks but there is one piece of information I haven't been able to find so easily. Say you have your seeds ready to plant in your outdoor growing plot. I've read that the seeds should go 1/4" to 1/2" deep into the soil which is well and good. The question that I haven't been able to find an answer to is how much space should you give each seed?

In other words, say I have 30 seeds to plant. How far apart should each seed be planted in the plot?

Any ideas out there?

just sow them in. when time pull the males, nowyour good to go..

OK so 3 square feet per seed? Sounds good enough

Three feet is the best, and if there in pots then each seed gets her own pot.
