Spotted Leaves Problem - Help.

Been getting these spots on my plant leaves lately growing in Octopots. Can anyone tell me what the cause of this is? I've done a ton of research and the only thing I can come up with is a Manganese deficiency. Does anyone agree with that?

Could be. Is it because you are not feeding her a balanced nutrient mix or is it because you are over feeding her something that has locked it out?

and more info would also help us, you grow in hydro ? do you use RO water or Tap and if Tap do it keep a lot of lime, if not you might need to add some to your nutrient line, the Cal/mg as Cat talk about will do the trick and also provide Mg (both are important secondary nutrients beside the NPK)

Thanks for the responses guys.

I am growing in Octopots which is half soil and half reservoir with feed. Which by the way, if you have not heard of them, checkem out, you will easily double your yield vs. soil only using these. Plus they are much less maintenace than hydro very easy to maintain.

I use my tap water which reads about 225 PPM straight out of the tap.

I feed with Advanced Nutrients - Micro Grow A & B, B-52, Big Bud, Bud Candy and Voodoo. I'm feeding just over 1/2 strength of the directions on the bottle.

Okay now funny thing is, Ive looked at the picture Slipon posted before and I swear the leaf with the spots indicating a Calcium deficiency was mismarked as a Manganese deficiency when I looked at it. That or I was extremely high.

Anyways, I have CalMag and will start using it on these ladies. Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I dunno, can't tell from those pics but not sure if that's mag or cal but I'd guess mag....

anyway, I'm finding that sometimes for a mag deficiency using loads of Cal-Mag can sorta have you chasing your tail
...anyway, if it is indeed just magnesium you might try epsom salts or maybe Dyna Gro Mag Pro and bumping the pH to range favorable for magnesium; temporarily at least
edit; I'll be psoting pics myself of a similar vexing issue with magnesium in late flower....hell we all need help, none of us are "Experts" ....

rust spots are calcium. botanicare buffers, and with gh3, i never had a ph problem. use according to label and you shouldn't have any more problems. old leaves won't heal, but new growth will be fine.

thats right....my bad, I couldn't see the 2nd pic....
mag deficiency is when you see yellow in the veins or the serrations on the leaf edges get crispy

okay my only issue with Octopots would be lack of oxygen in the water. i would add an air pump and stone so you can oxygenate the water for healhy roots.
