spot air conditioner

seems like it would be a really nice thing to have to hook up to a grow tent, anyone ever used one?

...from my experience, those single hose spot a/c units shoot your odor straight outdoors unfiltered. Most growers get the double hose spot a/c units. 2 hose uses the freash air from outdoors (or your desired location) and uses it to cool the unit. These double hose a/c units create alot of negative pressure, so tent growers must reenforce the walls of the tent to use them...2 hose are also awesome for using co2 because it circulates the same air over and over across the cooler coils ,allowing the co2 to stay in the grow area. i just took one back today. if you don't have the right ventilation don't get one. my temps with the lights on in the summer are 85 and my spare closet dosent' get any ventilation till i had to put holes in the door. i am happy with that till fall comes around and the temps fall.
