Spiders. So many spiders.

I've noticed spiders are attracted to my plants. I see new spiders every morning.

Is this bad?
Are there any benefits to this?

They don't really touch the plants. Occasionally i'll find one hanging from a fan leaf but for the most part they'll just make gnarly webs in the area around my plants.

I have one plant that's 6 weeks into flowering and the others are a few weeks behind.

I think they eat the other bugs not the plant. I have some to but not by my plant.

Here's a general rule of thumb: Leave spiders be unless 1) You can't stand them, 2) They're making webs on your plants. For the most part they just eat other pests in your garden. Ugh... I saw this one bug today in my grow box and I killed the fuck out of it it w/ the bottom of a screw driver; nasty little fucker.

I get quite a few little spiders on some of my plants. I just leave them to feed on other pests. If their webs get too big I knock them down and let them rebuild another. I'm sure they will do more good than harm.

gee... now i feel bad =[ other day i saw one on my plant and i broke its webbs and scared it away... to my assumptions any bug around my plant is bad... but next time one shows up ill leave it alone until the web gets out of hand

for sure spiders are good...neither the wife nor i are big fans but we let them stay in our garden and they keep the bugs at bay. We also do praying mantis and lady bugs and don't have much of a bug problem. also use neem oil when they get too bad. But, for sure. leave the spiders. if there are webs in your plants just brush them off being careful not to hurt the spider and she'll either move on or build a new one. I used to use all types of bug sprays and shit and yeah they helped but i prefer not using that crap on something i'll ingest...
