I am having the same issue.. how many times to o have to re apply it do you think?Use isopropyl water and avoid the flowers as much as possible. The iso will kill mites and evaporate so you don’t end up ingesting it
Probably thru the end if they’ve really established themselvesI am having the same issue.. how many times to o have to re apply it do you think?
What's your recipe for the water used to bud wash with? Do you dunk the whole plant in at once or branch by branch?Defo bud wash after mites unless you like smoking bag weed …
I have heard peroxide and water, I have heard lemon juice and water... I have even heard of some people using the Dr's stuff to bud wash also.... I am not sure about dunking a bunch of bud in water... but I guess outdoor guys have sworn by it for years? What's your recipe for the water used to bud wash with? Do you dunk the whole plant in at once or branch by branch?

Thanks man sad stuff for sureThis has happened to me twice now in the two years I have been growing. Bud wash worked great both times. I used 5 gal buckets, and did one branch at a time. Anything longer than twice the length of the bucket needs to be cut down as there is no way to wash that part. In bucket 1 I used baking soda and water. I used anywhere from 1-2 cups per batch, making a new batch each day (I only get a few hours of trimming at night). The second bucket I used hydrogen peroxide and water. I used 3 large containers of 3% per batch. Makes it really diluted still so not sure if it even did anything. The third bucket was straight room temp water, don't use cold water. Hang dry with fan blowing by them, I do overnight. Then dry as normal. Good luck, you're going to need it
Now that you’ve done the initial spray. I’d recommend doing more strategic sprays every few days or so, trying to avoid the flowers as much as possible. that should keep them at bay, but they won’t be completely gone until a more thorough clean between grows. do regular sprays of like neem oil or rosemary in veg and they’re less likely to get established by the time bloom comesSprayed all the plants right before lights out with a 1 part 91% iso to 9 parts water solution. Used a gallon total. I made sure to spray under the leaves also. I also removed the main offending plant and made sure it is disposed of. How often do you think I need to be spraying this to get rid of these little buggers?
Dish soap and water, just spray the leaves/stems and the soil. Then mist well with water - don't do it in the sunlight and avoid the buds.I'm 6 weeks into flower and I have spider mites pretty bad! I was told I can use green cleaner? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated
Yeah normally I am very good about using DE during veg to keep things at bay. This grow got out of freaking control... AND I had new digital timers that got set wrong so I had 2 extra freaking weeks of veg so the plants went insane. Thanks for the reply! I'll keep up with the iso sprays every few days. Here's hoping the next 30ish days go well! Now that you’ve done the initial spray. Ladybugs are nice too. It's like $60 here for 1500, I wouldn't even bother making them a habitat if I ever use them again because they just sit in there... ended up evicting them from the one I made lol. Bit of a slow solution but if you introduce them early enough they'll do the job, better than spraying neem oil imo. That stuff can make you puke apparently.Yeah normally I am very good about using DE during veg to keep things at bay. This grow got out of freaking control... I have looked at a few sites to by them but they have always been sold out sadly. I would love to have some though!Ladybugs are nice too. They sell them locally at garden centers too, I asked the guy at the hydro store where I buy my nutes and he directed me to the website for a store in another city right by me. They kinda need a few weeks to get settled and start feeding a lot.I have looked at a few sites to by them but they have always been sold out sadly. I would love to have some though!
