speaking of munchies...

I Love Sunday mornings!
I get some time to myself, I usually wake up 'round about 7am, start the coffee. Take a few puffs, and start to make my home made gravy. I am Italian and love sunday dinners with family & friends. I also love to cook, hence I am in the gourmet food business.

I start with some crushed tomatoes, while this is simmering, I pan fry some chicken thighs, some sausage, and some brachole. Brachole is the shit, and I am so surprised at how many people never heard of it, it's simply pork, tied up around some cheese, garlic and parsley. You can make a beef brachole too.

Anyway, I add my seasonings (basil, oregano, garlic & whatever else I can find)to my sauce, and throw in all my meat, now it's kinda important to start this early, and have it all in the pot by say like 9am.
The flavor of the sausage, brachole & chicken goes throughout the sauce, and you can taste it in every bite. You need to let this simmer over a low heat til about 3pm.

Of course I've picked up some fresh bread to go along with this meal, and although the cooking takes all day, it's really a very simple to make, home cooked meal.

PS, if the kids are gone and it's only you and your spouse, you can "kick it up" a notch by taking some of your trimmings, throw them in the blender, than into the gravy.
Peace
