Speaker grow ventilation

is there any way i can put some kind of vent in a speaker that isn't terribly noticeable? and i also need an idea for the smell so it doesn't make my room reek, but it needs to be small and cant be a carbon filter hanging off my speaker. what can i do?

iim bout 2 do the same thing bout to move so itll be easy to transport....so ill be subscribed...as of now havent came upnup with anything constructive tho when ii do iill bee back

being a speaker couldnt you just add a few little black mesh fabric grill to the sides and exhaust out that? Would just look like a small tweeter/horn who would think twice? Put the fan at a right angle and you should be fairly light proof. If you have no intake i would do something similar lower down towards the bottom on one side. I attached a pic of what i mean to make things easier.

i was thinking of getting a computer fan and just putting it out the back since it wouldnt be facing anything and putting mest over it. and i was wondering if there was anyway i could put active carbon so it wouldnt smell

ii jus got done gutting the speakers...to make more room ii knocked a wall outta both of em and imma stick em togetther make it look like ii got them side by side....and imma have passive intake at bottom and tryn get a fart fan to push hot air out the top...hope that helps ii dont kno how to link and stuff...easy skanking

good idea. i cant do that because my stereo has to atleast work a little bit. i gutted mine today and painted the inside white. then took off the top piece so all i have to do is lift it up to check on my baby then put the lid back on and put someting on top of it so it doesnt look suspicious

mine wont work but theyll sit in the closet and just look like some extra set or some junk or sum'n....ii took the backs off too,cuz you cant see the back and ill do some kind of rink'e'dink door as ii would say....

what lights u guys put in the speaker?

You could put dryer sheets over the Exhaust.

im gonna use cfl's if ii can ill put'll a 70 watt hps or somthing...room is a concern but im comfortable..a lil lst,or a good autoflowering strain,or dwarf and vamoose ala-kapresto-chango electricollie...

im just growing bagseed but im using a powerstrip and putting outlet adapters in it to use cfls

put hole in back or wherever u want exhaust, wrap active carbon in cloth(thin cloth) then tap over a computer fan blowing out, thru the carbon

yea thats what i was planning on doing. how much is active carbon? and would mesh work instead of a cloth?

alright thanks. im going to paint the inside of the speaker flat white today or tomorrow sometime and try to get some of the lighting supplies

i was going to use that but i cant get any. im on house arrest so i cant go to the store. so ill use the paint that i have already

to bad if you can get someone to get it for you...or white paint works fine after a couple a coats...as ii would say

yea i put one coat on so far and i just got someone to get me another can. im going to try and do about 2 more coats. do u have any pictures of your speakers. or can you put some up when u finish it
