Sowing the seed - nervous parent questions

ok so germination went well and all my 3 seeds broke shell and shown a healthy root :hump:

now i put them in the soil (good custom made one) which i watered lightly with a bit of biobizz rootjuice and i didnt really "bury" them - i just kinda swooped a little soil above them without pressing (its supposed to be airy in there right?). I turned on my 250w from far away (60cm roughy) for 18/6.

first off - am i doing ok until here? did i maybe forget something? any advice or even critcicm will be welcome.

second - the soil seems to be drying up pretty fast (i already watered it 10 minutes after i sowed them in the moist soil :/) do i need to put in more water?

third - i made a liter of the solution (ph-6 biobizz rootjuice-1ml/l) until when can i keep it for watering?

i don't think that giving biobizz nutes to your seedlings is a good idea.. other then that it sounds like they are all good..
water them so the water will come a little out from the drain holes and that should hold for a couple of days at least if you soil really is good..

ok ditching the nutes for a few days... i remember reading that hid lamps dry the soil up quicker, do you think watering a couple of times a day sound logical or am i over watering? i guess my question is when should water my seedlings again, how many inches of dry soil when i stick my finger?

you shouldn't water them a couple of times a day.. if you water them and water comes out of the drain holes then they should be ok for a couple of days at least..
maybe the humidity is really low so the upper soil feels dry..

check the pot if it's still heavy then they got water.. if you water them too much the roots won't grow deeper..

if you feel the soil wet 2 inchs in i think they don't need no more water..

Just relax and take it day by day. You'll be surprised how easy it is to grow a plant. After a few weeks, you won't have too much stress.

when planting germinated seeds, you dont really want perlite in the soil because you want it to retain the moisture. i'd suggest a 50/50 mix of peat and vermiculite. retains water very well and when they are young you want the soil to stay nice and moist. perlite is good after it starts to root. in my soil mix i use about 1/3 perlite and between that and the peat its has a good ratio of drainage and water retention.

Hey when i read this i already sowed me seeds in a 20% perlite soil mix should i be worried again? :(

And another question - i remember reading that misting is not recommended with hps lights because somehow they might explode or something, does that sound right? got mine in a cool tube with one side duct to take air and the other side open, is it safe for me to use a mist thingie (like a windex dispenser)?

duno about hps exploding. i've heard people misting clones and seedling and people not misting clones and seedlings. i persoanly mist the humidity dome. as long as the humidity is high you dont have to worry about misting.

and the only thing you need to worry about with the 20% perlite mix is keeping it moist. its not going to hurt you plants one bit. its just going to drain the water faster and your going to have to make sure it doesn't get dry. thats it

good luck

so if i nylon wrap the pots do you think that might solve my problem? or is that recommended only with rockwool?

You dont have a problem. you just gotta pay attention to soil and make sure it says moist and not wet and not dry ether. but thats with any growing medium. they all vary to how much your going to have to water
