sound proofing....

okay i have actually set p my set up yet but i was wondering how loud you guys would think it would be

setup:
6 23ww cfls
exhaust fan
intake fan
light cooling fan
wind suplement fan
thermoneter+ humidity checker
2 carbon filters
hydrp setup with pump and resevoir


so do i need sound proofing foam?
my grow space is 16.5inchesx52inches and 8 inches deep

How you gonna fit all that in there?

First off this will be a smaller grow due to your size restrictions, also you may want to review your list of supplies some are two big, and you do not need two carbon filters.

yeah ahaha i know my grow space is really lame. but im gunna train the plant to gro more up than out. and ive alraedy fitted everything so thats not a prob.


but do i need the sound proof stuff? or will a 3/4 ply do the job

the only way you or any of us can really help is to put together the system and see what it sounds like. it depends on how quiet you need it to be.

it needs to be like dead quite pretty much. ahaha just like nothings goin on.

do a small SOG. I think it would be your best bet. as far as sound, quite fans from the get go along with some foam padding to deadin the sound a bit. where is your space your using?

but isnt sog for like alot of plants? im only doing 1-2 plants. and how much are quite fans and where do i get them because the ones i have are from my old xbox and there noisey as fuck and how much is the foam padding pe square foot usually?

a few smaller plants might be easier to deal with,rather than trying to take a bigger plant and train it. just an idea. i would get a cheap foam mattress pad and cut it up to fit. one layer will do.

computer fans... i use a window fan hanging from bungies that works well. they have quiet bathroom fans you can use.
