Songs Getting Old

What do you guys think when it comes to listening to songs over and over again, maybe on loop or something, do songs get old for you? I personally like to shuffle through my songs but if i get stuck on a song too long, i lost interest. Even if it is a new song, ill get too used to the melody and song goes by too quick. Maybe all types of music need their breaks? (Dubstep is hurting my ears)

When I find new music, I usually download the album if not the discography. Usually there is a particular song I will listen to many times over in a short period. Then it usually gets put on the back burner as a find a new album and the cycle repeats. I like shuffle every now and then, although having 88 gb of music, I always end up skipping tracks which sort of defeats the purpose. It's always nice when you find a new, good song on your ipod that you either didn't know you had or forgot about.

i have a few electronica pieces that i can listen to over and over on repeat because they are slow repetitive tracks to start with - it is impossible to tell when they end and repeat.. one of those is my own song Nebulae in my Heart..

Dubstep gets old fast. When it first came around it was awesome everything was really innovative and crazy, now its just a bunch of retards with garage band following the same basic formula over and over, and it all just starts to sound the same.
