This is probably my most successful guerilla grow op to date. Have several Emerald Triangle strains going and I am very impressed with their gear so far. I wasn't going to make a dedicated thread this year, but figured why not.

Along the bottom we have Emerald Triangle Lost Coast OG. This is by far my nicest plant. She's about 7' tall very full.

Next up is Reserva Privada Sour Kush. This is probably my weakest plant. You can't tell in the pics, but it is a little bit sickly.

Here we have Emerald Triangle Grapefruit Krush. This was an awesome plant until about a month ago when some kind of animal came through and knocked out a good portion of my lower branches. It recovered better than I though it would, but it still definitely stunted the growth. At least it isn't a complete loss.

Thanks guys. Yeah growing growing isn't easy, but the payoff makes it worth it. I was so pissed about the Grapefruit Krush. Still should get a couples oz's from it.

I have a couple more plants that were put out a little later. Around July 1st.

G13 Pineapple Express. This just started flowering and it also pretty huge. I tied it down the last time I was out there because I am worried about height. Smell super fruity already.

Last but not least we have Paradise Wappa. This was an early favorite of mine, but about a month ago (around the same time the critters chewed up GK) there was a storm and the main stem snapped completely in half. Totally my fault. I had forgot the stakes at my other patch and was too lazy to walk back and get them. When I came back the following week the Pineapple Express was ok, but the Wappa took a beating. I'm guessing it was a few days until I caught it and the top already started to turned up to the light. If you look close you can see the elbow in the stem. I staked it up and it survived. Definitely stunted the growth. It isn't even flowering yet. I doubt it is going to finish for me before the weather turns to shit, but we'll see how it goes. It just goes to show, even after several years of doing this, there are still mistakes. Little things can cost you big in the end.

Took a walk out this morning to see how things are progressing, and it looks like for the most part things are coming along just fine.

They look great! And they're well into flowering. Hope the mold doesn't get them. That's my biggest problem here in western NY.

It's my biggest problem here too. Depending on the weather, it shouldn't be an issue with my plants that only have a few weeks left, but I have some that I don't expect will finish until October that will be my greatest concern.

Grapefruit Krush. This is probably my most far along plant with Super Skunk and Lost Coast not too far behind. Nice colors to it.

Sour Kush. This was a freebie seed from Herbie's. Starting to question whether it is actually a Reserva Privada Sour Kush seed. This thing looks much more sativa than you would expect it to be.

Finally, I have Wappa and Pineapple Express. Had to tie down the PE until it was almost horizontal because of height issues. This spot doesnt get quite as much direct sunlight so the plants there are a little more lanky and yield less. PE looks like it is really begining to take off though.

Oh and I just had to throw this in. In my travels today it looks like I came across two box turtles getting it on. It's probably actually pretty rare to see something like that in the wild.

Wow friggin' love it you did a great job of blending the plants in with their surroundings, if I wasn't really looking for it I might wander by several of those and if they weren't stinking the area up never notice em! Wonderful job!

Did you mulch on top of the topsoil with some of them? It just looked like some of them had been wood mulched a little some time ago but others did not. I mainly wonder because someone I once knew used a secret mulch blend they swore by for repelling something and holding in moisture longer. So been trying to find some outdoor grower's who have used mulch with success.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. It's really difficult to find natural clearings in this area so I was lucky to find my main patch a couple years ago. Water is basically the limiting factor in my grow, beside only have the one main patch (2 plants in a smaller patch). My only source is a small pond that would be a uphill hike and is a little farther away than I would prefer.

Nope, no mulch. I used it last year and it seemed to retain moisture, but this year I went with a water retention polymer crystals. I only had to water a few times this summer out of necessity. The other times have been for feeding. I added some Fox Farm American Pride in the holes when I planted, but I don't think I used enough. This was the first run with it so I wanted to go easy on it. It seems to have worked well, so next year I am going to use a bit more and maybe reapply it in July. My whole watering scheme is really a back breaker.

I think it was 2 years ago I emailed like a dozen or so breeders and asked them what strains of theirs they would recommend for my climate. About half responded, with DNA/Reserva Privada being one of them. They recommended Purple Wreck along with ReCon and one other I can't remember. I want to say Lemon Skunk. It's sucks. I had all that info along with like 3 years worth of grow info, from strains, personal finishing times and observations, yields, vendors, everything, in the old Notepad. They did away with it and I lost it all. :(
