Something highly reflective, but not mylar!

I originally purchased mylar for my cabinet, but ended up tossing it after seeing how much of a pain in the ass the shit was to work with.

Anyone have any other suggestions for something else to use?

I painted everything white, but it still doesn't have the reflection mylar would.

Mirrors are the worst thing you can use.
White paint works well.

I initially had the same problem working with the mylar. I had some velcro laying around and thought I would give that a try. End of problem!

Mirrors are perfect reflectors and don't absorb light as is commomly
purported, but are not recommended because of their property of specular
reflectivity. Conventional mirrors do not scatter the light onto the garden,
they only concentrate it where you don't want it, creating hot spots on your plants, which cause them to burn and wither.

I have roll of velcro! it just ended up being a nightmare.

I guess its because my grow is kinda cramped right now

I think im going to make due till this harvest. then im going to take a break and redo my whole cabinet.

time for a light upgrade and such

I was looking at some Foylon. Humboldt Hydroponics - Foylon 25 ft. roll

Seems to be the best idea. I believe HTGSupply has it on their site but its called Omniflect

well you might as well go with flat white then cause by the time you reflect teh light you are getting such small returns anyway

Nah man.... it's only a small percentage of light hitting the mirror in any one spot and unless that spot is convex there will be no hotspots. Who buys convex mirrors anyway? Bottom line: Don't grow plants in the Hall of Mirrors at the carnival funhouse.
