Some questions

After my harvest is ready ( some weeks left of flowering,) is it possible to just pull the bud and keep flowering new buds? I know it can go back into veg but can I bud again and if so how many times, and does yield reduce each time? Or should I just cut the whole plant and trim the leaves and dry in a cool dark ventilated place? I had a branch accidentally get broken off which had some bud on it, so I dried it for a few days on a fan, when the hairs turned orange I put it in a far for a couple more days and tried it tonight. It's premature bud, but it was great!
Also I read about adding Molasses to the water for bigger buds. I tried it and it did grow well today. I noticed on the bottle it's huge in potassium! I would imagine it would make the buds swell because of sugars in the molasses? Anybody tried molasses? Does it make big buds? Does molasses add resin, flavor or aroma? Hit me back

think of the flower cycle as the death cycle; it's going down hill; if you don't reveg, you won't get a second harvest... the plant will ultimately die on you...

in flower, pot likes more k than p, and more of both than n. molasses is good stuff ;)

Hmmm...I read about molasses and it works. I haven't read about just picking buds and continueing to grow or not a lot on re-vegging plants because its faster. I ....uh have to wonder why? Why are you the first one to ever think of it? If it was faster, better, we would all be doing it that way.
I will have to say it must be good stuff, you are definatly stoned. VV

i didn't say revegging is faster; i said revegging takes a few months, and that taking and rooting clones is a faster way to another harvest.

;)

not sure if you were talking to me.... :blsmoke:

Everything i've read on reveg says that while yes you can reveg a plant and bud it for the second time around, its just not worth it, for the amount of time money and effort put back into revegin, you might as well have used another 3 dollar seed. Which will yield more be more potent and finish quicker.

this is true; except for some extreme situations....

ie, you have an ak mom, due to security, you put her outside in the woods. uh-oh, too early in the year, she flowers. and doesn't reveg during the summer. at the beginning of fall, she's almost dead.....

then revegging can be a good thing. albeit, the example above is in flower right now, it's been months since i brought it back inside...

if you just want to grow another plant, start more seeds :p

if you desperately need to save a pheno, reveg.
