some crazy shit happened with my LED lights

So I just put in the special LED green lights that doesn't interrupt the plants sleep cycle. In other words, the plants cant see it. Anyways, me and my roommate went in the room at night with the lights on for like 5 minutes and when we came out we saw bright red everywhere for like 10 minutes. It was fucking crazy and a little scary because it lasted so long. Why did this happen? Im thinking it has something to do with the rods ad cones in your eyes that distinguish green from red?

who needs weed when you can just stare at green LED! :hump:
lol sorry this isn't an answer
im not exaggerating when I say how crazy it was. First I went in there and came out and saw red. Then I got my roommate to make sure it wasn't just the fact that i was extremely high at the moment. But nope, it happened to him to. When we looked at the walls they were like a bright, deep red as if had been painted red. Kinda trippy.

its kind of like when you are in bright lights, then walk out into the dark, and you cant see.
your eyes adjust to the spectrum, so it changes how the other colors look when you leave the light until they adjust.
look at a red grow led and when you leave everything looks green.

there is sciency shit and termage, but fuck that nonsense. you get the point.

Yes, you triggered a cone response - light was too bright more than likely or you caught it directly. The human eye cones are extremely sensitive to blue, green, and red spectral ranges.
