Soil question

I was wondering if this stuff -->1295063_L.jpg is ok to use with cannabis? The only reason I'm asking is because there are water absorbing polymers pre-mixed into the soil, and i wanted to know if this will have any adverse effect on the plants.

and since i should be watering less, i would be feeding less, so would that mean smaller plants? or are the polymers absorbing my nutes too?

thanks! :weed:

That blend will work fine.
I would add additional perlite and vermiculite and most important-dolomite lime.

I use ProMix BX.

Good Luck

I agree, I think the polymers would behave much like pearlite or vermiculite, but adding pearlite as you said would be the way to go. My only concern would that soil would be that there is already nutes in the soil. So controlling the plants nutes will be tricky in the beginning. I would go for coco peat as a medium. It has relatively low nutes and you can use your own nutes to feed the plant and control it that way.
