hydro isnt soil dawg start a new poll asking which medium you use, more people might take it seriously if the context is correct, but i use happy frog and royal gold basement mix which is soiless

This shit is fantastic!! All natural with Sphagnum Peat Moss and perlite already added in. NO NUTRIENTS ADDED, so it's good for seedlings all the way thru flowering. Perfect PH level to start out with since it usually goes up a bit once you start adding nutes. Everything I planted in this mix flourishes in it.

I use Premier Pro-Mix BX soilless mix. Peat, perlite, vermiculite, dolomitic and calcitic lime, wetting agent and mycorrhizal pre-mixed. Nice texture and nice to wet down straight from the bale. I could probably reproduce it somewhat cheaper, but I hate mixing this stuff inside.

That sounds like a nice mix. Expensive?

Other:

Roots Organic Soil: coco fiber, peat moss, perlite, pumice, premium worm castings, bat guano, kelp, fish bone meal, soy bean meal and much more. Its amended with microrhyzae Fungi as well. So far I've found it to be too hot for seedlings. Better to start in something a little lighter in the nutes category and transplant to the RO. Really amazing stuff though, grows em FAST.

The fox farm stuff is way too overpriced at my dro store, and believe me i aint about to pay shipping costs for soil.... I've been using scotts premium potting mix since i've had bad experiences with mirical gro. even though scotts and miricle gro are the same company. I've just had good grows with the scotts stuff. Would like to try the FFOF though, so much hype about it makes me wonder...
