Hey guys what is the ideal range for PH in soil?? I know hydro is like 5.6-5.8ish, but not really heard much about what it should be in soil. Thanks guys!

I just ph'd mine, it's sittin at 5.5, so if I buy some powder dolomite lime, mix it in water, and water the plants, should raise the PH?
