Hey all - long time lurker but short timer on the forum so figured I’d jump on here and throw some beginner questions your way while formally saying hello from the shadows.
I’ve had a few grow experiences however it has been hydro up until these recent grows due to moving and not having the same accessibility to a drain. the hydro grows went flawlessly and the only hiccup I had for those was a slight calimag deficiency but it was easily corrected. The soil grow however, different story… fortunately I'm learning a ton doing this round in soil but unfortunately it hasn’t been as flawless
Main plant - Problem 1:
1) PICTURE OF PLANT *** VERY IMPORTANT *** - Sorry for the slightly blurry photos

2) Growing indoor or outdoors - Indoors
3) Watering schedule - Nutrients every other watering per fox farms trio schedule (started half strength pretty much through veg and now I’m at 3/4 in flower); non-nutrient water is ph’d spring water with calimag (more details about this below). Watering tends to be every 3-4 days based on the soil being dry a knuckle deep (along with monitoring the soil moisture content using a raspberry pi/sensor - nice way to check in on things from the couch). This plant is in a fabric pot so I have been watering until I see about 10% runoff in which I test the water for both PH and minerals
4) Growing Medium - fox farms ocean forest with 30-40% perlite in fabric pots
5) What stage of growth - week 6 of flower
additional details/problem: About July 20th I noticed small brown rust spots led me to believe two issues (for one i ran out of calimag so i missed a couple waterings worth) but also a low PH issue as my PH meter seemed to not reading appropriately. Since then, I've added calimag back into the schedule (5ml per gallon) and test ph using a test kit in addition to testing the runoff using the probe style which it has returned back to 6.4-6.5. The spots still seem to be getting worse so my only other thoughts is perhaps a good flush is in order; per the FoxFarm schedule, it seems that at the end of week 6 in flower, the plant gets a flush so perhaps I have a nutrient lock situation? The only other thought I have is it started as a ph/calimag lockout issue which is now potentially a phosphorous issue (reason being that it started off with the small rust spots which looks exactly like calimag def images however the darker (almost purplish) spots seem to look like potential phosphorous issues; i have been light on the nutrients throughout the grow since I read a lot about soil growers over watering and using too much of FF trio). I'm just now hesitant to make any big changes without someone's thoughts/input as I'm relatively new to this game and would hate to lose the work put in this far.
any input is GREATLY appreciated
