soil and ph

ok so im wanting to start my second grow first one didnt go to well if im using soil like ff do i need to check ph i was told i could add lime and not have to worry about phing because its a buffer also is there anything i should add to the ff before planting just really looking for away around the phing so is there anything i can do

i dont worry about my ph at all. i use alot of compost with a good black soil mixed well and thats it besides the fertilizers

you dont have to add anything to that soil besides perlite. last time i checked the ph of a brand new bag of FFOF it was 6.7 but you should always check the ph of your soil.

huh this guy said he never phed before he said he uses just ff and some lime i really would like to not have to worry about checking the ph would be more easy for me what should i buy for a good soil i wont have to ph my water and stuff during the grow sorry if i sound stupid

happy frog that ff to right i was told to get ffof if i were to buy that can i not have to worry about my ph just water and feed and i should be good my first try my ph went way off but it was in a soiless mix start good but then turn all yellow and die thats why i dont wanna have to mess with phing

i dont worry about ph i use alot of composted manure and organic compost though. among others like teas and fertilizers i let nature do her thing lol
