I wanted to test out a popcorn nug before I harvest.. Any negative effect if I just cut one off? And if no negative effect, would I just let it sit out and for how long? I know it won't be near the final product in quality just want to know if it causes any problems with the bud still growing.. Im harvesting in 7-14 days, Thanks.

Shouldn't be any problem at all, never has been for me.

well depends on how fast you want to sample it. you can either A. micro b. oven c. dehydrator . d. let it dry in your grow room until its done then sample.

There are some fast-dry techniques. While not as good as drying and curing, it can end up being smokable as quickly as overnight. Check out the harvesting / curing forum for the posts on fast drying.
