so i found a seed amongst my stash. planted it and here we are 4 weeks later

so its living on my balcony getting between 10-14 hours of sun a day. i have a 250w mh bulb and small tent that i use to start all my plants i actually mean just plants lol watermelons and tomatos mostly. i let it soak up some light in there on days that it doesn't get much sun outside.
its in some fox farm ocean forest forest soil. up until now ive been feeding it miracle gro lol. im gonna be repotting it into a 5 gallon bucket tomorrow and going to begin feeding it fox farm big bloom.

im pretty sure its a female. im not gonna go nuts with this thing. just gonna give it a lil juice make sure its healthy and mostly let nature take its course. well see what i get when the time comes.

A bigger pot will do it good. But it looks healthy. You should get some smoke off it. It won't need a lot of nutes.

yea ill be doing that tomorrow. will post a pic. didnt want it getting too big on my balcony. but yea if i got an oz id be happy. like i said dont plan on doing much besides just letting her grow.

so today i re potted the plant and began with big bloom. today marks 30 days exactly since the seed fell off. fox farm recommends 4 tbsp per gallon of water i started today with a little over 1 tbsp in a half gallon of water to be on the safe side and allow the plant to adjust to change. i will gradually increase to the recommended amount as the plant grows. i have a temperature gun and the soil is reading at 100.3 while the top of the plant is around 83 degrees farenheit.IMG_2896.JPG

Most folks start off at 1/4 strength. A small plant doesn't take a lot.

And it never hurts to add a little Epson salts and brown sugar to your water.

well i was planning on feeding her today since i last fed her on thursday however it rained alot last night and its still cloudy today so i am going to wait another day or two as i don't want to flood the plant. looks to be making decent progress every day.

it has been 11 days exactly since i have re potted and changed her diet from a generic miracle gro plant food (which i feel as though did lots of good providing the nitrogen needed in the earlier stages of the plants life.) to fox farms big bloom. i havent been able to feed or water her myself as it rained two days in a row and i didnt want to flood her. shes gotten two full days of sun so i fed her another half gallon with a little under 2tbsp. i like to think she looks nice given the circumstances of this grow. shes starting to smell a bit fruity if i had to describe it. no complaints so far for only having spent 10 bucks on some nutrients lol.

She is looking good.

Is 4 Tbs per gallon the recommended strength? That sounds high to me. Also every other day is close together for feedings. You might try feeding every other watering.

The bottle says 4 tbsp per gallon every other feeding. Im doing a little under 2 because I'm just using a plastic utensil which is more like a tsp she gets water in between feedings thanks to the rain so I try and stick to feeding her every 2 days weather permitting since I don't wanna flood her other than that she smells wonderful and is quite sticky haven't noticed any signs of burn either so I'd like to think she's doing ok

Yea, I googled it after I asked. Seems crazy for them not to have it more concentrate. Thousands of dollars wasted in shipping costs. But I guess it is harder to make bad mistakes this way.

Good ole google. gonna cut clones soon and go with a complete different grow setup. I plan on mimicking Scottyballs PE grow. (Google if you're not familiar with it) can't wait to see how this plant turns out so I can see how the clone grow turns out in comparison since it's the same plant just a different method of growing. Should be interesting.
