So, does YOUR bud burn white or black?

And so i wondered, does your bud burn black or white?

And is the tint of white/gray of cannabis ashes even related to the quality of the bud? I'd figure that if you blast black ashes with a blowtorch it would turn white anyways

Anyway, mine turns quite black and can induce some harsh coughing when inhaling a large hit (tastes great though). Could be my bad, added some nutes in the week or two before harvesting because i was a total noob and my plants were wilting. Nothing harsh though.

White = good weed
Black = bad weed

that whole video is such bullshit, the ash has nothing to do with flushing, just proper drying and curing.

This is dumb and has little to do with flushing...I don't flush, but my weed burns to white ashes, just like anyone else's...

Take a piece of paper and burn it a little and it turns black...burn it a lot and it turns white...

here is a doob I'm smoking of vortex, I feed until the last possible time, I also feed full strength, no reduction in ppm's.

If you use thick papers they always burn white.

black ash is caused by improper dry/cure
too fast to be precise

caramelization - the sugars (chlorophyl) present in the quick-cured buds turn tan-black when burned

Sounds more plausible than the explanation in the vid.

I do like how he reccommends to just give your plants plain water and let them wilt naturally though. I guess it wouldn't harm you (only your plants )

Chlorophyl is not sugar. It's more of a chemical precursor to sugar like substances.
