Title. Moving the plant today out of the tent for the first time since flower, one of the heaviest colas snapped under its own weight. I caught it within 30 seconds and taped it together (was hanging by a thread) and propped it upright against the side of the tent. Plant has about 2 weeks left, this cola is one of the furthest along at 30-50% pistils.
My question is whether it's worth trying to save to get closer to harvest or whether this is just going to waste resources for the plant that could be used to fatten it up at the other sites. It's probably about 10-20% of my harvest so it wouldn't be an absolute loss if it's a goner, but would suck if I have to.
Also, Ive never grown to harvest, so I'm not sure whether if I harvest this cola it will be usable. Looking to make edibles with it if I must. Thoughts?
I have no pictures of that cola currently, but this is a similar cola in the same plant that's a little bit behind in terms of maturation. Gives an idea of how far along it is.
