smallest air cooled refelctor ?

i have seen cooltubes at 50cm / 20" in length but my tent is only 60cm so with the ducting on i think im going to struggle with room

can anyone suggest one that is smaller then 50cm in length? i really dont want to do the diy if i can avoid it

20 inches is about as small as they get. I have never really seen any much shorter.

you and me both cowboy, thats about the same size ive seen.
im usually pretty good at creating a solution to a problem (and the wife might even say good at creating problems too! ha ha) but my handywork can sometimes be a bit of a "cowboy" job, and i dont fancy my chances of NOT burning down the house if i end up doing some DIY with my light lol

Sounds like your space is pretty small. Maybe just a 250 watt hps, open bulb style. Passive air intake hole near the bottom of the area. And a exhaust fan pulling air from the top and out.

space is very small .....60cm X 60cm x 140/160 cm
i have a 250w hps in a euro reflector, with a ruck and rhino package exhausting the warm air from the tent, i just need to find a smaller cool tube as the ones im seeing online are all 50cm in length and that only leaves 5cm each end to get ducting on with a bend and i just dont see it working....

searching here and elsewhere as it looks like im probably facing the DIY route. if i need to find a glass tube that is strong enough to withstand the heat but not so long that its a pain in the arse like the other cooltubes...oh how i wish i had a bigger tent! lol

Sun Systems has one that is 11" or some 27cm I don't know metric
