Small space ventilation issues and how Not to set my house on fire

In a size of 40cm 40 cm 120 cm I use a 125 watt Compact Fluorescent....almost 40 cm in lenght. Problem is that its large ballast kinda heats the grow area,so i bought a pc fan cooler which I want to install high up ,where the hole for the tent" s exhaust is.I know about carbon filters and extractor fans ,but I do not have the cash yet.the diameter of the fan is as big as the tent;s exhaust hole ,I want to ask if I could rely on this improvisation until I ll get an ext fan ,and if I get one?....how loud are they?I m sleeping in the same room and I m kinda sensitive to noises....I
not flowering just yet and I can;t ventilate outside anyway , for fresh air ,because I don t have an exhaust hole where I live and I cannot drill one neither ,anyway ,think I ll have to blow the grow air in the same room ,.....will it smell if it passes through the carbon filter?

im pretty much doing the same thing and i was having problems at first until i got this little bitty portabreeze fan and its made to be really quiet with a good breeze and its completely open where the fan is ( good ventilation) and it was staying in the low 80's now it stays at about 75. just right for me.

By the way i mounted it in the cardboard with the front side in and the backside out.

so it is sucking air from the outside--inside the grow area?

Yeah thats exactly what im doing. and its working too i feel like i can breath when i stick my head in there now. lol

Just did it it s sooper cool now temp is optimal thanx a lot man!

Actually mine is blowing air out .temp down from 81 to 75.

Your room seem fine with temp. 81 is a good temp for your plants... 75 is good to and the cooler temp helps on keeping the smell down. good luck

81 was fine but the problem was the lenght of the cfl was more than 40 cm (side of tent) so I had to put it in diagonal and its tip would kinda heat the side of the tent ,being one inch at distance,and after couple of hours it would smell like plastic getting hotter ,so it was a security issue also.i put the pc fan up ,to blow air from the tent and now it's fine.can t wait to check tomorrow morning (lights are on at night).thanx again and best of luck.
