small plant

I planted 2 seeds I germinated 9 days ago and popped them in the grow tent.. in 11ltr pots. doing OK yet one seems to have stopped when it got its second leaves. but only tiny ones .. the other as gone on to sprout about 8 leaves. . few days after I potted these I germinated 2 more seeds then placed them into the same tent with the other two once they were about 3 inch. .but in small pots . these are now the same size as the one that seems to of stopped growing . and that one also has yellow on the rounded leaves ( cotyledons )were the others don't have . now I know when a plant has established itself to a degree these do drop off. just wondering if anyone can explain why it seems to have stopped growing .. many thanks

lets start with the noobs favorite of over watering

2nd is too cold, a soil check, air temps too

3rd has to be light, ensure you're hitting about 100 watts per square foot

or better, 2 x 25w cfl's about 2 inches (50mm) from the top most leaf

you not mentioned if these are photos or autos

but often I grow both types in 4 inch pots with 50/50 organic soil and perlite/sand

up to 6 inches/150mm if autos to a 12 litre pot ...photos to a 15 liter pot

the light is 400watt hps with added blue and red for both stages. temp is no more than 82..83f. but mainly sits at 79f... tent is only 3ftx3ft x5ft there potted in compost but I did recently add some soil conditioner that has a mix of manure in . and added perlite. I also have drilled holes in the pots to allow more air to roots. but didn't drill while plants were in . I did that on the re mix of soil.. I don't over water I generally place my finger in the soil about an inch to 2 inch to see if it's wet . moist or dry as the top of soil drys out quickly I also do ph test and moister . ph sits at 6...7 and soil is moist on reading's. the seeds were femanised white widow .. I have an home made co2 trickling in that on top of my osolating fan to distribute the co2 around

Those are big pots. Even in perfect conditions they will look stalled for a bit. They are building roots. They will explode.

Though pay attention and don't over water. That big of a pot they won't need water for a while, maybe even a couple weeks.

1st 2 pics are the plant I feel doing OK even with it deformation of a leaf .that's how it grew it's not been damaged. .2nd 2 pics are of the one I feel something ain't rite with .. then you have the 2 plants I potted after the 1st 2 yet have cought up to the one I feel has stopped growing. last pic is of holes I put in the big pots.. and yes I kow the last 2 are lanky the others were until I potted them again rite up the main stem to just under the cotyledons

the conditioner I didn't put a lot in it was mainly compost and a few handfuls of the conditioner
