Does anyone know a good quality fan that moves alot of air, stays quiet and is somewhat small as i will need 1 or 2 for the inside of my grow box. Any help would be great

I have a 293 cfm soler/ palau inline 6" duct booster fan, it's all plastic and really quiet with minimal vibration. I use it topside on my cab and it moves plenty of air.
In my 10 years of doing commercial and residential hvac I haven't found one comparable to this deal, and you can pick one up for about $100 usd online.... dont bother with the flanges and install kit; it's junk. But the fan itself rocks and cools my 400watter' to about 70f @ exhaust via cooltube.

Thanks for the reply will keep in mind for the future, but I was thinking of one for a small cfl grow box for intake/exhaust

If it's for the CFL cab you got going in you Avi.
Go to Ebay and search for this exactly 3" Computer Fan
I would link you directly, but RIU would prefer it if members did not like people to other sites through this one.
So check that out buddy and send me a PM with whether or not that will work for you... I can think of a few more ideas. but it's 4:30am and I was supposed to get off 30 minutes ago to get some sleep lol...

Edit: i'd suggest at least 4. this way you have great air flow in and out without worrying about anything.

Edit: i'd suggest at least 4. this way you have great air flow in and out without worrying about anything.

Yeah then the 4 will work out for you.
i think you can get them as cheap as $5 each with shipping.
just need to get some old phone chargers with 3.5-9v outputs on them.
those fans should have the recommended DC needed. DO NOT EXCEED THIS #.
if it is 3.5v don't run anything over 3.5. You can cause a fire and blow the motor.
so be careful and make sure your wires are properly sealed and away from water.
especially if only using electrical tape....
Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and more carry this Heat Shrink Wire Wrap. you can use a blow dryer to seal up the individual wires and then both together.
They usually come in a few sizes so just make sure it will work out. and not just be a waste of money
