Small buds?

yet again another newbie post, but i need opinions.
its my first grow, i have two white widows (the two others died off)
they seem to be doing fine but the buds seem small
today is the first day in the fourth week of flowering.







What do you think?

What kind of light situation?

Well they are small but they will fill in some.
If ya get bud your first time you are doing great.

shitty. im using three for foot florescents on top and one facing up under the plants

looks good for 4wks 12/12 under flouros! soil or hydro?

My room mate is growing some widow looks familiar but the lights is the main thing, bigger buds with good nutes and good lights. Stems are very skinny might hint your bud size.

dude you need more light.

obviously more light equals more bud, but its all about what you can afford, how much heat you can handle, and how big you want to go.

i can however tell you that length tube florescents are inefficient due to the shape they are made. if you are going to stick to flours and want something you can buy anywhere for cheap go with high wattage helical CFL's. Stores like wal-mart or target or whatever will have cfls in the range of 40 and 50 watts for 10 bucks or so.

but if you want massive buds then go with a 1000 watt HPS, i dont think they make them any more intense than that

its a stealth hydro bubbleponics system. it was a newbie mistake buying it, it was over priced, homemade and i regret it but it does the job for a small home grow
