slow growth? 1st grow 10 days old

here it is 10 days since breaking soil.. im a newby and this is my 1st grow..

I think it looks good, keep it going!

thanks for the replies guys i feel a lil better now.. btw i notice in the pic it looks all crystallised pretty cool .. looks like its been sprinkled wit sugar lol i cant see it with my naked eye tho...

is my mg organic soil burning my plant!?

Dude, The plant is small for 10days old and the soil does not look good at all.

Soil looks very bad
for starters if it says MG on it put it back, don't even bother, some people can use it, but not us noobs, I tried a gro last year and it failed because of MG, save yourself the money and heart ach.

You need a good soil mix, just do a quick search, or just read the noob section stickies it's all there, I use it alot.

yeah... go to your local hydroponics shop and get some potting soil there. I used MG and hated it. Switched over to an organic potting soil that has all sorts of stuff like guano, worm castings, fish bone, etc. Working wonders.

my soil is ORGANIC but it is MG so wtf do i now just give up? its already planted and green... shit! u guys dont think this plant will make it? BE TRUTHFUL..

i think you will be alright. im a first time grower too but ive read of people using MG soil and it worked for the whole grow. but maybe when you transplant you can put it in some better soil ya know?

No man dont give up, but get them outta that junk, get something else NOT MG or scotts.
Find a garden shop or hydro shop (if your lucky enuf to have one close) get some soil WITHOUT EXTENDED RELEASE FERTS, mg soil has them and will cause you greif.

Listen to the other people if you want that tell you mg is ok, results speaks and the only results I had with MGs garbage was burnt plants and 1 bag of their organic I was using came with "organic gnats" too.

So go ahead use that mg soil and see where you gets you, spend a few dollars to see something better.
Skimp on your soil you will be sorry, but Im a noob what do I know, I already tried and failed before....

well its still in the mg cus i cant get different soil till the weekend i hope it makes it till then, im just hoping its focusing on the roots now and it will shoot up like crazy? maybe im just crazy and its gona stay this size FOREVER cus thats what it feels like!

Dude, don't freak out mang, the MG soil is bearable despite what people tell you check out my grows all I use is MG. your plant is coming along fine IMO keep it up don't use nutrients even with MG organic for the first month at least.

O I wouldnt nute for a while. like 4 months, but keep ur eye on em, they look good, relax and enjoy em.....

how close is your light?

for the first week i had lights 2 inches away i just moved them further maybe 5 [o 6 inches i have 4 26w cfls on 2 of these sprizouts...
