Slightly Stoopid?

I have little gnats flying around my garden. Is it cool to dillute some insecticide and spray my plants? Or could this lead to the browning, spotting, discoloration, and curling? I thought I just had to adjust my fertilization, but now I'm beginning to wonder about other possibilities.

go to walmart and get some fungus gnat insecticide. its like 5 bucks and work great
